Speed-up Your iMac: Most iMac machines come with the bare minimum of memory (RAM), preventing a user from multi-tasking or sometimes using no more than a couple applications at the same time. We can help an Apple user easily identify their system maximum memory and even suggest upgrade options that go beyond the original Apple specification, as in the case of Ramjet’s tested 16GB (not 12GB) DDR3 1333 Mid 2010 iMac, Model 11,2 and 12,2.

Ramjet Certified: iMacs have proven to be too demanding for generic PC memory modules. Apple users have been forced to either pay Apple’s premium prices for upgrades or buy 3rd party memory modules and be subjected to system crashes, boot failures, and sub-par performance.

At Ramjet, we start with upgrade modules built 100% to Apple's original specifications, but we don't stop there. In our compatibility lab, we have a comprehensive array of Apple iMac machines with every possible configuration imaginable, ranging from 1GB DDR2 667MHz to 32GB DDR3 1600MHz systems.

Apple Compatible: Other memory companies try to test for Apple compatibility using generic RAM module testers, whereas we test our RAM memory in the same iMac you're upgrading.

Our technicians perform tests for fitment, temperature build-up, battery consumption and endurance. If the memory isn’t good enough to pass these tests, it isn’t Ramjet compatible.

Non-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a Non-stacked memory module for the Apple Mac Pro. The cheaper stacked IC variety of DRAM draws more power, which increases heat and can cause increased errors. Ramjet ONLY uses premium, original non-stacked chips for the Apple Mac Pro.

Are you confused about how to identify your Apple machine? One of the most effective ways is to find your Model Identifier. For example, the most recent release of the 27" iMac is the Late 2012 version and has the Model ID 13,2.
