Maximum Memory: The original iMac running DDR2-667Mhz memory has a system maximum of 2GB to 6GB, depending on model. The original Intel Core Duo (Model ID 4,1 and 4,1) has a 2GB max. The 1.83Ghz Core 2 Duo has a 3GB maximum, all other early models (Model ID 5,1 and 6,1) all have a 4GB max, and the later versions, (Model ID 7,1) have a 6GB max.

Non-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a Non-stacked module for the 4GB DDR2-667 module for the iMac. The cheaper stacked IC variety of 4GB SO-DIMM draws more power, which increases heat and decreases battery life. Ramjet ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips.

Trade-In Rebate: Your Apple original memory can be returned to Ramjet for a trade-in rebate. Please check our Rebate Page for details.
