Apple's latest iMac release, Model ID 13,2 (Fall 2012,) operates with DDR3-1600Mhz memory. The system maximum is 32GB for Apple's 27 inch model (4x 8GB.)  It is important to note the 21" iMac 13,1 is not user-upgradeable.

Specifications: DDR3-1600, 1600Mhz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 1.35V, 204pin SO-DIMM.

The 32GB option contains four (4) matched 8GB DDR3 1600MHz SO-DIMM memory modules that are specifically designed and SPD configured for the Fall 2012 iMac 27" Model ID 13,2.

This module is compatible with the latest Apple Firmware.

Non-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a non-stacked module for the 4GB and 8GB DDR3-1600 module for the iMac. The cheaper stacked IC variety of SO-DIMM draws more power, which increases heat and can cause increased errors. Ramjet ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips.
