MacBook Memory for Model 2.1
DDR2-667Mhz
Maximum Memory: The MacBook 2.1 with the 1.83Ghz processor can only have a maximum of 2GB (2x1GB) installed. All other 2.1 MacBooks can have a maximum of 4GB of memory installed, but only 3GB will be fully addressed. Installing 4GB of RAM utilizing the 2x2GB configuration is the best configuration for those versions of the machine, as it will give your machine a slight boost from the 4th GB, and you will also enjoy a boost from installing matched pair modules.
Non-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a non-stacked module for the 4GB SO-DIMM module for the MacBook. The cheaper stacked IC variety of 4GB SO-DIMM draws more power, which increases heat and decreases battery life. Ramjet ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips.
PC2-5300, DDR2-667, 667Mhz, Latency 5-5-5, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 1.8V, 200pin SO-DIMM.
