Mavericks is here! Apple announced the launch of OS X Mavericks at their keynote event on October 22nd, available immediately - and with the additional exciting news that downloading Mavericks would be completely free. Apple believes their latest OS, and the upgraded apps that come with it, makes for the best version of OS X yet and wants as many users as possible to be able to use it.
