MacBook Memory for Model 5.1
MacBook Late 2008 Aluminum
DDR3-1066Mhz
Maximum Memory: The Late 2008 Aluminum MacBook can be upgraded to a maximum of 8GB when running Snow Leopard (10.6.6) or later and the latest Apple Firmware. Earlier versions of the operating system are limited to a 6GB maximum.
Non-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a Non-stacked module for the 4GB SO-DIMM module for the MacBook. The cheaper stacked IC variety of 4GB SO-DIMM draws more power, which increases heat and decreases battery life. Ramjet ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips.
1066 vs. 1067? The correct name for this memory is DDR3-1066. But since it runs at 1066.66Mhz, the Apple System Profiler reports it as 1067Mhz.
DDR3-1066, 1066Mhz, PC3-8500, CAS Latency 7, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 1.5V, 204pin SO-DIMM.
